This display centers around an immaculately preserved, 7.5ft Wooley Mammoth Tusk. The surrounding flora have all been hand-forged, and fabricated to evoke the ancient "Mammoth Steppe" landscape of Mongolia and the Republic of Tuva, where this fossil was unearthed. Rich greens, reds, and bronze plant life surround the tusk, and are attached to a carved and fire-blackened cedar. Using minimal/non-permanent hardware, the ice-like central pieces hold the tusk firmly in place in its upright position, creating visual movement and celebrating the form. The elevated steel frame/base carries the entire piece, and is removable depending on buyers wishes.
